Abstract

In this article, I argue that cooperation, which explains social reality, may not cease with Giannini’s offense and moral conflict. In the first section, I introduce to the problem, while in the second I briefly address the concepts of offense and moral conflict in Giannini’s philosophy. In the third section, I explore how collective intentionality is based upon cooperation and solemn pacts. Finally, I look at how the offense and moral conflict do not necessarily hinder high-level cooperation. Thus, I conclude that collective intentionality only stops when cooperation reaches an endpoint.
