This article aims to describe an overview of the theoretical evolution of business administration, focusing the subject on some conceptual axes considered of interest in higher education institutions. Some evaluation models are presented in university-level educational institutions, as well as studies carried out in nursing graduate training centers, with the aim of contributing to the exceedance of the quality levels achieved. Finally, some of the conclusions are analyzed, derived from the pilot test of application of the institutional self-evaluation guide, designed by the researcher for the School of Nursing of the University of the Republic (UDELAR).Downloads
