La Revista Teatro es una publicación académica de carácter institucional, abierta a investigaciones científicas en el ámbito de los estudios teatrales y escénicos. Sus contenidos se organizan en tres secciones –archivo y documentación teatral, estudios teatrales y escénicos, teatro aplicado- distribuidas en Artículos, Ensayos, Notas, Reseñas y Documentos. La periodicidad es de dos números al año y las contribuciones están sujetas a un proceso de doble referato ciego.
